Fundación Excelentia

The Excelentia Foundation is a private non-profit cultural organisation whose main goal is to disseminate and promote the new values of our lyrical heritage.

It is constantly searching for ways to inspire the creation of all types of musical arts. For this reason, the Foundation supports initiatives which freely cultivate and strive for musical perfection.

Among the fundamental activities carried out by the Foundation, we can find the organisation of concert series which take place in some of the most important concert halls and auditoriums.

With a total of 80 concerts each season, the Excelentia Foundation aims to bring quality music to all types of audiences with a wide repertoire. For this purpose, the Foundation has a 140-voice choir and its own orchestras made up of the best professional musicians.

Likewise, since the 2014-2015 season, the Santa Cecilia classical orchestra has named the renowned Maestro Grzegorz Nowak as its resident conductor who, at the same time, is the conductor of London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Throughout the entire concert season, the Foundation invites famed conductors and soloists for the enjoyment of quality music enthusiasts.

The Excelentia Foundation organises various concert series in the National Auditorium of Madrid which include the great classics, chamber music, family concerts for the youngest audiences and music to remember featuring orchestra versions of pop and rock hits in order to delight both experienced music-lovers and novices alike.

Additionally, the Foundation organises its own concert series in Valladolid and a six-concert series in Zaragoza, Alicante and Valencia
